Irish renewable infrastructure company Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP) said it has purchased a 14.1-MW wind power facility in County Clare, western Ireland.
-- EBRD interested in 5% stake in Romania's Hidroelectrica - report
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is interested in acquiring a 5% stake in state-owned Romanian hydro power producer Hidroelectrica, local media reported.

Gresham House Energy Storage Fund Plc (LON:GRID) launched a share placing to raise up to GBP 30 million.
-- Hellenic Petroleum to buy 204 MW of Greek solar projects from Juwi
Greek oil refiner Hellenic Petroleum SA (ATH:ELPE) said it has agreed to buy a portfolio of solar projects with a combined capacity of 204 MW in northern Greece from German renewables developer Juwi Group.

Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) approved without restrictions the acquisition by Brazilian renewable energy company Omega Geracao SA of the 50-MW Assurua III Wind Complex.

Australia-based Maoneng Group and China’s Chint New Energy unveiled plans to jointly develop an Aussie solar project pipeline of at least 2 GW by 2025.

Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ) said it has finalised the disposal of a 56.3-MWp solar power plant in Japan’s Yamaguchi Prefecture to a subsidiary of Hana Financial Group.

AC Energy Inc on Wednesday announced that it can proceed with the acquisition of a majority stake in a 45-MW solar power facility on the island of Negros, the Philippines, after the country's competition commission cleared the deal.

US renewable power producer TerraForm Power Inc (NASDAQ:TERP) has acquired two concentrated solar power (CSP) plants totalling roughly 100 MW in Spain from NextEra Energy Spain Holdings BV, a Netherlands-based unit of NextEra Energy Inc (NYSE:NEE).

The Public Service Commission (PSC) of Wisconsin approved two utilities’ planned acquisition of 150 MW of solar power generating capacity in the state.
-- Hydro co Smakraft secures EUR 250m in funding
