December 27 (Renewables Now) - YPF Energia Electrica SA (YPF EE), a power producer in Argentina with wind and thermal capacity, has secured a USD-75-million (EUR 66m) credit facility for investments in new energy projects and for general corporate purposes.

Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior SA (NYSE:BLX), or Bladex, and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) SA served as joint lead arrangers for the senior unsecured, amortising three-year loan facility, Bladex said on Wednesday.

YPF EE is a unit of Argentina's largest integrated energy company YPF SA (BCBA:YPFD) and General Electric Co (NYSE:GE).
