August 15 (Renewables Now) - China’s Yingli Green Energy Holding Co Ltd (OTCMKTS:YGEHY) said today it has supplied 110 MW of polycrystalline solar panels in Spain to Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente SA (BME:SLR).

The customer will use the photovoltaic (PV) panels as part of three projects that are currently under construction in Castilla y Leon. One of them has a capacity of 50 MW, while the other two amount to 30 MW each.

Dario Lopez, CEO of Solaria, commented that those three projects are part of the company’s plan to install 3 GW in Spain by 2023. They were awarded to Solaria in the last local large-scale auction that was held in July 2017.
