to-the-point: Malaysia’s Cypark wins 30-MW solar job

January 26 (Renewables Now) - Malaysian investment holding company Cypark Resources Berhad (KLSE:CYPARK), or CRB, has secured a contract to build a 30-MW solar park in the western state of Negeri Sembilan.

The conditional letter of award is from Cove Suria Sdn Bhd, calling from the engineering ,procurement, construction (EPC) and commissioning of the photovoltaic (PV) plant at Empangan Kelinchi, CRB said in a bourse statement on Friday. The company will also deliver operation and maintenance (O&M) services for 21 years.

The contract is worth a bit over MYR 260.5 million (USD 67.3m/EUR 54m).
