to-the-point: China's GCL SI connects to grid 221 MW of PV farms in Vietnam

July 23 (Renewables Now) - China’s GCL System Integration Technology Co Ltd (SHE:002506) has completed and connected to the grid two solar photovoltaic (PV) farms totalling 221 MW in Vietnam.

Both the 110-MW Phu Yen and 111-MW Vung Tau PV farms are equipped with the company’s GCL modules. They were hooked to the grid at the end of June.

With the latest commissioning included, GCL SI has grid-connected close to 700 MW of own modules in Vietnam, the Chinese solar company said Monday.
