State-owned Makedonski Sumi to build wood pellets plant - report

SKOPJE (Macedonia), January 26 (SeeNews) - Macedonian state-owned forestry company Makedosnki Sumi plans to build a wood pellets plant, local media reported.

Makedonski Sumi plans to start preparing the documentation on the project later this year, the company's director Zharko Karadzhoski said as quoted by Sitel TV channel on Wednesday.

Makedosnki Sumi had 1.8 billion denars ($31.2 billion/29.05 million euro) revenues in 2016, Karadzhoski also said.

According to media reports, the forestry company generated 28.9 million euro revenues in 2015 and had a profit of 1.16 million euro.
