Spanish firm Enerside wins contracts for 75 MW of PV projects in Spain, Chile

September 5 (Renewables Now) - Spanish integrated solar PV platform Enerside Energy SA (BME:ENRS) said on Monday that it has signed contracts to build 75 MW of solar projects for third parties in Spain and Chile.

The contracts are worth around EUR 31 million (USD 30.8m), and will see the company build a 24-MW solar farm in Spain and install 51 MW across several plants for Trina Solar Co Ltd (SHA:688599) in Chile.

With the latest assignments, Enerside fattened the portfolio for third parties to 231 MW of awarded projects, it said.

As an independent power producer (IPP), the firm is targeting 330 MW of own solar farms in 2023.

During the first half of 2022, Enerside earned revenues of around EUR 15 million, or about eight times more compared to the same period in 2021. It said that the solid performance so far enables it confirm its revenue target of EUR 40 million for the full year.

Enerside operates in Spain, Italy, Brazil and Chile.
