Renesola's PV inverters get more certifications

(SeeNews) - Jul 30, 2013 - ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) said on Monday its photovoltaic (PV) string inverter Replus has received certificates for eight additional markets.

The Chinese solar module maker is now certified to offer the Replus inverters in the US, Canada, Italy, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

In July, the 1.5 kW-5 kW single-phase and 10 kW-20 kW three-phase string inverters received certifications by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Intertek Group (LON:ITRK), confirming that the products meet local standards in the US and Canada. In addition, the product got the CE certification for the European Economic Area. The inverters have also passed tests of the EuroTest laboratory for renewable energy, which is important for selling the inverters in Italy. Last but not least, a certification from Bureau Veritas guarantees that the Replus inverters are suitable for the Slovakian, Czech, Hungarian, Thai and Sri Lanka markets.

Renesola has already been granted certification for the Replus inverters in Australia, Germany, Denmark, the UK, France, Spain, Greece, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden and Romania, the firm noted.
