UKIB, Octopus Investments launch fund to back emerging green infrastructure
May 19, 2022 10:43 CESTDecember 16 (Renewables Now) - Spanish electrical engineering company Ingeteam SA said that it has opened a repair centre in Albacete, south-eastern Spain, where it will work on repairing, restoring and reusing components from multiple brands and multiple renewable energy technologies.
The new shop is “exclusive” given its offering -- breathing new life into multi-brand wind, solar, hydro, water and power plant equipment, the Basque firm highlights. Its other facilities focus on a single type of equipment, such as converter repair centres in Spain, Brazil and India, and two other shops dedicated to generators and pumps, located in Spain and the US.
Ingeteam also provides on-demand repair services to its customers for which it performs operation and maintenance.
With the Albacete centre, Ingeteam’s current capacity to recondition multi-brand components will increase four-fold, contribute to the company’s own and its customers’ CO2 reduction targets and lower project costs, the company added.
