City of Chicago to procure power from 593-MW solar complex
Aug 09, 2022 8:25 CESTApril 29 (Renewables Now) - Portuguese renewables company Greenvolt - Energias Renovaveis SA (ELI:GVOLT) announced on Thursday it has secured a power purchase agreement to deliver 98 MW of wind and solar power to Polish telecommunications operator T-Mobile Polska.
The transaction was carried out through Greenvolt's Polish subsidiary V-Ridium Power Group and its joint venture with German asset manager KGAL Investment Management GmbH & Co KG.

According to Greenvolt's securities filing, the power supply will commence in the first quarter of 2023 and run for a 15-year period.
The amount of clean energy supplied is equivalent to the average consumption of 66,000 families per year.
With the PPA, T-Mobile will be able to offset 145,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually, Greenvolt said.
