June 21 (Renewables Now) - German solar developer Hep Global GmbH announced today it is achieving progress on about 840 MWp of well-advanced projects in two of its core markets – the US and Canada.

The company said in a statement that it expects to begin construction of five 100-MW-plus solar projects with a combined capacity of 667 MWp next year so that they are completed by 2024. It also has 120 MWp of projects in the large stages of development and a further 52 MWp already under construction.

Hep Global pointed out that it intends to make use of the “reliable environment” in the US, arising from President Joe Biden’s recent suspension of circumvention tariffs on solar modules from Southeast Asia, to continue to consistently drive forward the implementation of projects.

The firm anticipates increasing its business volume and sales this year thanks to the successes in the development and construction of its projects, it said.
