December 22 (Renewables Now) - Madrid-based outfit Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), part of Abdul Latif Jameel Energy of Saudi Arabia, is arriving in Poland’s solar market through a new partnership, it announced on Tuesday.

FRV said it had signed a collaboration agreement with renewables firm Tundra Advisory for the development of solar projects in Poland.

Tundra Advisory is based in Gdansk and operates as a Polish arm of Spanish renewables investor Taiga Mistral. The firm has accumulated more than a decade worth of experience in dealing with all phases of renewable energy development, it says on its website.

The partners will aim to combine FRV’s global and financial strength in the renewables sector and Tundra Advisory’s knowledge of the local market.

According to FRV, the companies will focus on the development of large-scale solar PV projects and work on them over the next few years. The agreement is part of FRV’s ambition to expand in Europe, the renewables developer added.
