August 3 (Renewables Now) - US renewable energy and sustainability services company Enfinity Global Inc said today it has obtained USD 242 million (EUR 236.7m) in long-term financing for three operational solar plants in Japan with a combined capacity of 70 MW.

Nomura acted as the initial lead arranger and sole bookrunner for the financing, while Aozora Bank served as the lead arranger and agent.

Enfinity said in a statement that the three solar parks were completed recently and are contracted for 18 years under the local feed-in tariff (FIT) programme.

Earlier in 2022, Enfinity bought a 250-MW solar asset portfolio in Japan that includes 70 MW of operational photovoltaic (PV) plants and 180 MW of projects under construction.
