EDPR's renewable production decreases 4% in Q1 2019

April 24 (Renewables Now) - The output of EDP Renovaveis SA's (ELI:EDPR) renewable power plants has decreased by 4% year-on-year to 8.4 TWh in the first quarter of 2019.

Although the company's overall generation went down, the data released on Tuesday shows that there was a significant year-on-year increase in Brazil, where the company's generation surged by 98% to 314 GWh.

Production in Europe, outside Portugal and Spain, also went up 9% to 1,175 GWh. Further details on EDPR's global generation, in GWh, are available in the table below.
