Gasunie to develop Dutch hydrogen transport network
Jun 30, 2022 14:30 CESTApril 20 (Renewables Now) - EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) saw the output of its renewable power plants increase by 14% year-on-year to 9.2 TWh in the first quarter of 2022.
According to the report released by the company on Tuesday, the growth came because of higher installed capacity and stable resources in Europe, North America and Brazil.
Among the company's markets, the most significant increase was registered in Canada, where EDPR's generation was up by 283%. Brazil and the US followed with annual growth of 122% and 11%, respectively.

As of March 2022, EDPR managed a total renewables portfolio of 14 GW, with Europe and North America accounting for 41% and 50%, respectively. The firm currently has 2.4 GW of new capacity under construction.
