Renewables IPP Alternus books Q1 loss on growth costs
May 19, 2022 11:33 CESTJanuary 22 (Renewables Now) - EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) registered 28.5 TWh of renewable power generation in 2020, down by 5% on the year.
The overall decline is mainly a result of the company's sell-down of 1,234 MW in Europe and 137 MW in Brazil, EDPR said.

EDPR's output in Europe decreased 15% to 10,024 GWh, while in North America the company recorded a 6% rise to 17,421 GWh.
At the end of December, EDPR had 2.3 GW of new capacity under construction, of which 1,648 MW come from onshore wind projects, 404 MW from solar photovoltaic (PV) and 269 MW from equity stakes in offshore schemes.
The company closed last year with 12.2 GW of operational renewable power capacity, including 11,674 MW of onshore wind, 484 MW of solar PV and 10 MW related to an equity stake in offshore wind.
