January 22 (Renewables Now) - EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) registered 28.5 TWh of renewable power generation in 2020, down by 5% on the year.
The overall decline is mainly a result of the company's sell-down of 1,234 MW in Europe and 137 MW in Brazil, EDPR said.
More details on global generation, in GWh, are available in the table below.
|Rest of Europe||3,054||3,333||-8%|
EDPR's output in Europe decreased 15% to 10,024 GWh, while in North America the company recorded a 6% rise to 17,421 GWh.

The company closed last year with 12.2 GW of operational renewable power capacity, including 11,674 MW of onshore wind, 484 MW of solar PV and 10 MW related to an equity stake in offshore wind.
