EDPR completes 149-MW wind portfolio sale to Mirova in Poland

April 29 (Renewables Now) - Renewable energy giant EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) has finalised the divestment of a 149-MW Polish wind portfolio to Mirova, the sustainable investment unit of France's Natixis Asset Management.

Under the agreement, EDPR sold its full equity shareholding in the portfolio for an enterprise value of EUR 298 million (USD 312.4m), representing EUR 2 million per MW, the utility announced on Thursday.

According to the press release, the portfolio consists of six wind parks already in operation.

With this sale, part of the company's EUR-8-billion asset rotation programme for the 2021-2025 period, EDPR reaches EUR 1.8 billion in asset rotation proceeds.
