February 7 (Renewables Now) - US power company Clearway Energy Group has agreed to sell the output of its 110-MW Black Rock wind project in West Virginia to AEP Energy and Toyota Motor North America.

The US renewable energy generation and distribution company said on Friday it has signed two power purchase agreements (PPAs) that will help its partners to meet their energy management and clean energy goals.

Retail electricity and natural gas supply provider AEP Energy is a unit of utility American Electric Power Company Inc (NYSE:AEP). Toyota Motor North America is part of Japanese carmaker Toyota Motor Corp (TYO:7203) that owns an engine production plant in Buffalo, West Virginia.

The Black Rock wind park will be installed in West Virginia’s Grant and Mineral counties. After the recent award of a siting certificate from the West Virginia Public Service Commission, Clearway expects to launch construction on the plant late this year. During the building process, the project will open at least 200 jobs, the developer estimates.
